Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

What makes Graze cheese different from other cheeses?

Graze cheese is made practicing traditional artisanal methods, using whole milk from 100% grass-fed cows sourced from sustainable Amish farms. Our focus is on quality, authenticity, and providing a healthy, delicious product.

Are your cheeses organic?

Although our cheeses are not certified organic, our farmers maintain their fields naturally, without chemicals or toxic fertilizers, ensuring a healthy, sustainable environment for their herds. Our cheeses are 100% Non-GMO, antibiotic-free, rBST-free, and hormone-free. We also avoid artificial additives and preservatives throughout our cheesemaking process.

Where is Graze cheese produced?

All Graze cheeses are produced in partnership with small-scale, sustainable Amish farms, primarily in western Pennsylvania. We emphasize local, responsible cheesemaking to ensure quality and support Amish communities.

How is the milking process conducted?

Our Amish farmers milk by hand as their forefathers did, keeping tradition alive and ensuring the cows are treated humanely. The milk is not separated from the cream retaining its natural quality, resulting in a better-tasting creamier cheese for you!

What do the cows graze on during winter months?

During the winter months, our cows are fed high-quality hay and haylage, harvested from our fields during the summer and stored in silos. This approach ensures they continue to receive the nutrients they need while maintaining a grass-fed diet, even when fresh pasture is unavailable.

Is Graze cheese pasteurized?

Yes, all of our cheeses are made with pasteurized milk to ensure safety and quality while retaining the rich flavors you love.

Do you offer vegan or lactose-free options?

At present, we do not offer vegan or lactose-free options. However, many customers with mild lactose sensitivities find our cheese easier to digest, thanks to the cows' nutrient-rich diet and the natural grazing rotation every 12 hours.

How should I store my Graze cheese?

To keep your cheese fresh, store it in the refrigerator wrapped in parchment paper or a breathable cheese bag. Avoid plastic wrap, as it can trap moisture and impact flavor.

What is the best way to enjoy Graze cheese?

Our cheeses are perfect for cheese boards, pairing beautifully with fruits, nuts, and crackers. They melt wonderfully for cooking, adding a burst of flavor to sandwiches, pasta, and more. Whether enjoyed on their own or as a quick, healthy snack on the go, our cheeses are always a delight.

Do you offer gift packs or bundles?

Yes, we offer curated gift packs and bundles for various occasions. You can choose from our 4-pack or 6-pack options to share the joy of artisanal cheese with friends and family.

Can I track my order?

Absolutely! Once your order is processed, you will receive a tracking number via email to keep an eye on your cheese delivery.
